Last week, Mamo (my incredible grandma) sent my mom and sister home with a bucket full of the first fruits of her garden- and we could hardly wait, so we ate them for lunch that very day. I can’t wait until we have our first bucket full of produce from our garden this year! We missed our garden a lot when we moved, and am so very grateful that we were able to do our first vegetable garden at the new house this year!
(there are a lot of photos, as I totally fell in love with the way the broccoli looked in the sunlight… :) The photographer in me was so happy! :) )
the last photo shows what we love to do with our veggies this time of year- pasta salad!
It’s super easy to make:
-1 box of noodles, cooked
-pepperoni, to taste (we like a lot :) )
-assorted veggies that would go in a salad such as broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, etc. We use whatever’s in the fridge. :)
-salad dressing, usually Italian
mix it all up and wa-la! A tasty, fresh out of the garden lunch!
